WE’VE MADE PROVISION FOR INDIGENT STUDENTS- ABSU VICE CHANCELLOR
@ABSUPDATE🎙️
It was indeed an august visit in september for the Chaplains, Students and the entire congregants of All Saint Chapel of Redemption (ASCR); Anglican Chapel of Divine Favour, (ANCODIF) and Campus Church of Christ ABSU as the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne, his wife, Barrister Lady Uzoamaka Uche-Ikonne made an unannounced appearance at their Sunday Service.
Addressing the congregants, Professor Ikonne cautioned the students to shun cultism and other related activities, as the university security and other relevant agencies are on red alert to deal decisively with anyone caught in the act.
He admonished them to study and work hard to ensure excellence in their upcoming examinations, noting that the policies of his administration are geared towards Students welfare.
The Vice Chancellor also used the opportunity to announce to the congregants, that his administration has made provisions to assist the indigent students in paying their fees.
He called on Government; Government functionaries and Good spirited individuals to contribute their quota to the success of this age, through providing scholarship for the indigent ones among us.
He also seized the opportunity to thank the church for their synergy with Management in uplifting the spiritual content of the students and pledged the unalloyed determination of his administration, to positively shape the future of the students at all times.
As usual, he showered his love to the church through anonymous donation for the ongoing church buildings projects.

O Eze of the All Saint Chapel of Redemption (ASCR) and Venerable Ugochukwu Ihechukwu of the Anglican Chapel of Divine Favour, (ANCODIF), expressed surprise at the VC’s unannounced visit, described Professor Ikonne as a veritable partner in God’s work.
